Maui born designer, Jenny, grew up loving the water and finding ways to be active. A competitive swimmer for almost 10 of those years, the water felt like a natural haven. One of her oldest friends would take her on family fishing and camping trips. Later, she took up surfing when a dear friend let her borrow her longboard to go out to sea and find peace.
Sewing was passed on by her grandmother and mother. Collaborating on projects, outfits and art were treasured family memories. Childhood sewing and crafting led her to showcase in County fairs and mall fashion shows.
After pursuing post-graduate studies in education and teaching she returned to working with her hands when her two daughters arrived in the world.
Now, she resides in the Pacific Northwest, calling West Seattle her home where a whole new world of adventures await. Next door to the vibrant Seattle city life yet still close enough to the open sea. Having retired a surfboard for a paddle board and hiking Northwest mountains, she can be found searching for new explorations with her husband and daughters—her biggest champions and inspirations.
